Custom Jewelry Disclaimer

Please review the following terms before placing your deposit:

1. Design & Approval
   Each piece is designed exclusively for you. Before production begins, you will receive renderings or design details for review. Your written approval is required to proceed. Once production starts, changes may not be possible.

2. Deposit & Minimum Order
   A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to initiate the design process. This deposit will be applied toward your final balance. Please note that all custom jewelry orders require a minimum order of $3,000.

3. Unique Nature of Custom Work
   Every piece is handcrafted to your specifications. Returns or refunds are not accepted unless a verifiable manufacturing defect is present. Minor variations in gemstones, metals, or finishes are natural and reflect the individuality of your custom piece.

4. Craftsmanship & Variations
   Slight deviations in measurements or appearance (typically within 0.1–0.2mm) may occur due to the handmade process. These are not considered defects but hallmarks of genuine craftsmanship.

5. Production Timeline
   Production times vary based on design complexity and current workload. An estimated timeline will be provided after design approval.

6. Materials & Quality
   Only high-grade metals and gemstones are used. Natural variations in color, clarity, and structure are expected and enhance the uniqueness of your piece.

7. Next Steps
   Once your deposit is received, our design team will contact you within 1 business day to begin the creative process. Please email a screenshot of your order along with design ideas to info@jdvgold.com.

Shipping

• Timeline: Custom jewelry requires design and production prior to shipping. Once completed, your order ships within 2–3 business days.
• Delivery: Complimentary shipping is included with all orders. A signature is required for items valued over $100.
• Packaging: Each piece is presented in our signature JDV box and securely packaged for safe transit.
• Tracking: Tracking information will be provided once your order is dispatched.
• Delays: JDV is not responsible for carrier delays, customs inspections, or holidays. Delivery estimates do not include production time.

Returns & Exchanges

• Custom Orders: Because each piece is made exclusively for you, all sales are final once production has begun.
• Manufacturing Defects: In the rare case of a verifiable defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery. If approved, we will repair or remake your item at no additional cost.
• Stock Jewelry (non-custom): Exchanges may be requested within 7–10 business days of delivery. Items must be unworn, in original condition, and include proof of purchase. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
